5.11.2020 Residents will wish to know that the planning application 20/00776 at No.1 and The Neuk No.3 Bretforton Road Badsey WR11 7XG for Outline planning application for residential development of up to 24 no. entry- level affordable dwellings with associated access roads and car parking, public open space, landscaping, drainage and other associated infrastructure, following demolition of no.1 Bretforton Road will be considered by Wychavon District Council’s Planning Committee at their meeting on 12th November.
The Planning Ofiicer is recommending APPROVAL.

UPDATE The Planning Application for Change of Use of land on Willersey Road to provide burial ground, allotments and Heritage Orchard was approved by Wychavon District Council today. Thank you to all for your encouragement and support. The button below will take you to the latest version of the document charting the course of the project.
PLAY PARK UPDATE – NOW OPEN! After the completion of the necessary risk assessments, related tasks and erection of required signs the three play parks provided by the Parish Council are now open.
Please keep in mind the play parks are NOT supervised, they are NOT CLEANED by the council and all usage is at the USER’S OWN RISK.
They are inspected regularly for safety of equipment.
We would ask all parents to supervise usage, ensuring the children clean their hands before and after use of the equipment. Parents should clean equipment with wipes etc. as needed. Please dispose of used cleaning materials in the bins or take them home with you to keep the parks clean and tidy.
The signs indicate the maximum number of users for each piece of equipment – please adhere to these signs.
The large signs outline the general rules. Please read them and follow the rules. See the copy attached to this post.
We hope that everyone will take responsibility for the safe use of the parks by their children.
If the parks are not used in accordance with the rules outlined the Parish Council will be forced to close the parks for all users.

28.7.2020 A Risk Assessment has now been conducted at all three Play Areas in preparation for re-opening. Signage is now ordered and we shall complete the work as soon as possible. Please bear with us as we still have a number of things that we must do before we are allowed to open. PLAY AREAS REMAIN CLOSED until the process is completed.

25.6.20 A planning application for a two-storey side extension and minor alterations to the existing dwelling house including the provision of a rear dormer (20/01028/HP) at 50 High Street, Badsey, WR11 7EJ will be of interest to residents in the village. 6.6.20 Residents still have until the 18th of June to submit comments with regard to Badsey and Aldington Parish Council’s planning application: W/20/00940/CU for a burial ground, heritage orchard and allotments, Willersey Road.
This planning application has been submitted so that the Parish Council has approval for the burial ground. Without this planning consent, the PC will not proceed with purchase of the land, and there will then be no burial ground, allotments or heritage orchard within the Parish. Planning approval is only required for the burial ground and for sheds on the allotments, should we ever decide to supply or allow them: we would want a uniform, tidy design.
The detail of how we take forward this project once approved is still to be decided. The Parish Council will continue to seek ideas, assistance and support of all its residents when the purchase of the land is completed in order to move the project forward.
